Theme: Easter Basket
Description:
Kids will love creating an Easter candy box using these craft supplies and Glue Dots.
Required supplies:
- Pop Up Glue Dots
- Craft Glue Dots
- Mini Glue Dots
- Large or medium paper box
- White acrylic paint
- Foam brush
- White and pink cardstocks
- Large wiggle eyes
- White paper ribbon
- Two pink buttons (one large and one small)
- Large, white Pom Pom
- Scissors
- Black marker
Step-by-step instructions:
- Paint the box. (May require two or more coats.)
- Cut two large circles (4 1/2" diameter), out of the white cardstock.
- Off set and attach each large circle using Pop Up Glue Dots. (For eye-popping dimensional effects, try stacking the Pop Up Glue Dots on top of one another.)
- Cut one small circle (3" diameter), and secure on top of large circle using Pop Up Glue Dots.
- Cut ears out of white cardstock and attach to top of large circle using Craft Glue Dots.
- Bend down one corner of one ear and secure with Craft Glue Dots.
- Cut two pink strips for inner part of the ear and attach using Craft Glue Dots.
- Cut two oblong circles for eyes and attach to face using Craft Glue Dots.
- Secure wiggle eyes on top of pink circles using Craft Glue Dots.
- Cut paper ribbon to desire length. Cut into the ribbon to create strips for the whiskers.
- Pinch ribbon together and attach to the face using Craft Glue Dots.
- Attach two pink buttons (smaller on top of larger), to the center of the ribbon using Mini Glue Dots.
- Draw a mouth with the black marker
- Attach a Pom Pom to the side of the box using Craft Glue Dots.
