  Spooky Encounters
Jennie Stagliano, Editor

I've had several spooky encounters over the course of the year; my oldest daughter received her drivers license; my son, a head-strong young man, turned thirteen and discovered girls really don't have cooties; and my youngest, now in 4th grade, is one of the most easy-going, trouble-free kids I know. That's the spooky part, wondering what trouble is coming and when.

Parenting is a pretty spooky endeavor. As scary as it sometimes gets, we still laugh pretty hard and often in our house, probably because we all realize that some things are hit and miss and are often times without perfection.

In this issue, we've put together some clever, spooky projects for you and your kids, all of which are easy-going and trouble-free. And that's not so spooky.

We also invite you to share your ideas and suggestions on our new Weblog. See details in the article below.

Happy Halloween!!

  Fabulous Fall Garland

This spellbinding fall garland will bring warmth and color to a mantel, doorway or large furnishing. You don't have to be a floral arrangement expert to create this seasonal decoration.

Visit our Project Gallery for a list of supplies and complete instructions.

  Cute Costuming

Cute, bewitching costumes start with skin-tested Glue Dots®Adhesive Products. Attach small rhinestones to the skin with Mini Glue Dots® and medium-sized gems using Craft Glue Dots®.

Before applying rhinestones, make sure the skin is clean and dry. Then, apply Glue Dots® to the rhinestones and rhinestones to the skin. To remove, use warm water and a mild soap.

Glue Dots® adhesives may have a tendency to come off skin in hot, humid climates or in instances of significant perspiration.

Halloween Tip: Glue Dots® Adhesives are the quick, temporary fix for a torn costume hem.

  Pop Up Glue Dots®

Make Pop Up Glue Dots® part of your kid's back-to-school supplies. Pop Up Glue Dots® are 1/8" thick and create cool 3-D effects on school dioramas and art projects. Stack 2 or 3 Pop Up Glue Dots® to create even greater dimension.

  Hauntingly Clever Bags

Greet your hosts and collect your booty with this hauntingly clever trick-or-treat bag. There's not much to it. You'll need Craft Glue Dots® in order to secure the foam shapes to the bag.
See the project instructions.
